Stills of nature
the spring morning warms
couple of beetles make love
on a green bedding
the woodpecker drums
as Sunday morning wakes up
in gentle sunlight
waddle in the woods
spring becomes abundant green
to cloak the newborns
sunny spring midday
pink blossom petals rain down
trailing bumble bees
a grey-tinged morning
pigeon coos in the tree
partner flutters in
unexpected noise
Exmoor pony trots along
we both are alert
hazy spring morning
curtains of rain hide landscape
stirring up desire
Christmas memory
spectacled eider’s beauty
resting forever
misty winter walk
footsteps on soaking wet grass
alarming black birds
