a bleak autumn day kestrels cheer one another to dance in the wind

coffee mug, warm hands window full of autumn rain watching life’s facets

oh joy, rain has come relief in times of struggling – summer heat records

summer sun blazes water in the lake recedes leaving fish stranded

lake shrouded in rain passing cars splash up water summer’s morning view
