During the BioBlitz from May 9 through June 7, 2026, the Amsterdamse Bos transformed into a bustling exploration area for nature lovers, explorers, and curious visitors.
Over the course of four weeks, events were organized around the themes of birds, flora, small creatures, and nightlife.
For the first theme week, “Birds,” I was asked to share five favourte photos of birds in the Amsterdamse Bos for a temporary exhibition in the forest shop. Four of the photos are used.
